NASW announces 2023 Idea Grant recipients, kickstarting science podcasting, mentoring training, and interdisciplinary collaboration projects. The $30,400 awarded in this latest funding round adds to more than half a million dollars granted since the program’s inception in 2010.
NASW awards $9,930 in inaugural Pivot Grants to 11 science writers. Spurred by the recent economic climate and industry shifts, NASW launched the Pivot Grant program in March 2023 to support science journalists and writers facing unexpected challenges and transitions.
